The doctrine
The Turkish Cuisine Movement is the doctrine developed under the leadership of the Founding President. WTCA’s institutional records identify it as the first culinary doctrine written specifically for Turkish cuisine.
Its instruments include the World Turkish Cuisine Institutional Heritage Inventory, WTCA’s institutional documentation and appraisal record, in which documented works are entered.
Within the WTCA/TMDH institutional calendar, the Movement maintains 26 August as Chefs’ Day and 30 August as Victory Day. The historical grounds are set out here.
